Landscape Helper/Grass Cutter (Mount Airy, Phila. Pa.)

Looking for competent grass cutter, who can also use a weed whacker along with gas powered hedge shears. Grass cutting is priority though, using lawn mowers, not the commercial machines.
If you've never worked for a landscaper going from house to house, then this might not be for you. I'm not looking to teach, but can show you some of the finer points if you are teachable.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

You will be mainly working on developing and organizing our data-base as well as working on booking strategies. At any given time you could also be involved in marketing and promotions, research, sales, social media outreach, event organization, managing administrative tasks associated with tour marketing, proofreading and editing copy for newsletters, blogs and websites. Communicating in writing and on the phone will also be a big part of the job content.

Work will take place at a home office, so, candidates should be comfortable in this kind of scenario and around kids and pets.

Applicants must have access to public transportation or their own transportation, as our office is located in Paoli, PA. 45 minutes from center city Philadelphia on train or by car.

Typical hours are 8am -- 4pm Monday to Friday, but flexibility is preferred as projects develop. Traveling may be necessary, especially to NYC.

Start date is as soon as we find the right candidate.


REQUIRED SKILLS:


* Strong interest and passion for music and knowledge on the history of jazz and the current state of this genre.

• Strong Interest in pursuing a career in Artist Development and Music Marketing.

* Must be reliable and have good time management skills

• Able to commit to at least 40 hours per week for a one year period.

• Must be able to multi-task and prioritize tasks sufficiently while working independently.

• Must be pro-active, detailed oriented, and possess good follow-through while adhering to deadlines.

• Strong computer skills including proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power Point.

• Exceptional interpersonal, communication, writing and organizational skills.
