Flooring showroom and design center in the Galleria area is looking for a dynamic professional showroom designer to join the team.
Our customers are designers, builders, trade professionals and high-end clientele.
We carry Residential and Commercial surface products, including wood, carpet, tile, natural stone, glass, metals, countertop materials and many decorative design materials and products.
A successful candidate must have designer background and experience in selling home improvements. This individual will work directly with the customers in our showroom to help select products. The candidate will be required to meet specific sales expectations. Must have great presentation and communication skills as well as positive personality, solid professionalism, and maintaining task-oriented behavior. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES INCUDE:
Assist customers in the showroom with product selection and design
Conduct sales presentations and accurately measure and price products
3-5 Years of previous showroom sales experience experience is required
Designer background and experience is required
Designer certification is a plus!
Experience in selling commercial flooring is helpful, but not required
Ability to generate new leads and help grow customer base
Ability to work cooperatively as part of a team
Detail oriented in order to accurately complete required contracts with customers
Competitive nature, persuasive written and verbal communication skills
