2nd and 3rd Shift Service Desk Technicians (Northborough)

JOB SUMMARY:
This tier 1 call center technician will assist Spencer customers and internal associates and ensure all incidents/requests are resolved in a professional and courteous manner. Using the various tools available the technician will record, track and follow up to ensure resolution and document any and all steps within the process. This position will require a dynamic person with good troubleshooting skills as well as customer service capabilities. The position will start as a 3-4 month temporary job, with the possibility of permanent status following a successful training and trial period.

Our Service Desk is a 24/7 call center. All candidates must be available for second and/or third shift, as well as able to work any day of the week, including weekends.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Set up service calls per customer's request and coordinate resolution via internal associates or dispatch of a field technician
- Clearly document work expected and completed by remote field resources
- Provide telephone/remote support for end users and technical resources
- Record field technician activity and ensure that all service calls are closed properly and ready for invoicing
- Work closely with peers and cross functional teams to drive resolution while providing excellent customer service to all
- Ensure that client service level agreements are met regarding issue acknowledgment, technician estimated on site arrival time and final resolution
- Manage service calls from start to finish while providing a high level of communication with the customer
- Enter orders for part shipments to facilitate on site service resolution
- Provides consultation, makes recommendations, gives appropriate advice, and/or facilitates decisions
- Speak clearly, concisely and effectively; listen to, and understand information and ideas as presented verbally

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum 2 years computer service experience in a fast-paced business environment
- Excellent Working Knowledge of Microsoft Business Applications (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio)
- Working knowledge of basic Networking and Phone systems
- Retail or Multi-Store environment experience preferred but not required
- Excellent customer service skills and comfortable with remote/telephone support functions
- Familiar with Incident Management process and tools (Work Orders, Knowledge Base, etc)
- Strong communications skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to work in both team environments and as an individual contributor
- Ability to sit for extended periods at a keyboard to enter information and read displays

Landscape Position (Auburn Area)

We are seeking AT LEAST 2 Full Time Employees for the 2012 Season (we have been working straight out for 2 weeks now!)

You will be RAKING - Hauling Tarps - MOWING - Mulching - EDGING BEDS - Moving Loam / Stone and a Variety of other Landscape Tasks.

We would prefer some experience but we are willing to train someone with the right attitude. Would consider Part Time if you can work at least 6 daylight hours in a given day.
