Part Time Package Delivery Driver with Fedex (Wichita, KS)
Looking for a part time driver for package delivery service. I am a Fedex Ground Contractor, I own and manage 4 routes and am wanting to hire a driver for my part time route. Days and hours: Mon-Fri, 7:30-2:00 starting out and less hours once the route is learned. Hours are based on the packages requiring delivery each day, some days are less and some are more. Requirements: 21 years of age. At least 1 years experience driving large vehicles; e.g. semi, bus, box truck, dump truck, etc, in the last 36 months and I must be able to contact a previous employer to verify this fact. This is a contractual requirement by Fedex and can make no exceptions, if you don't have the experience, I cannot even consider you. You must also have a clean driving history and clean criminal history, cannot consider if you have felonies. This is a salaried position of $300.00 per week plus a couple small bonuses. All uniforms provided and $50.00 reimbursement for work shoes or boots. This job has the potential to become full time if any of my full time drivers quit as I will offer the full time position to my part time driver first. 5 days of paid vacation earned after each six months worked and vacation has to be used in a year from date vacation is earned. This job is a combination of large bulk package deliveries and small or single package deliveries, so you must be able to do some heavy lifting and climbing in and out of a 15 foot box truck. Must be very reliable, self motivated, good at multi-tasking and good with people. Please submit a resume or a short description of yourself and your previous work history.
