• Perform in-depth technical functions required to maintain and repair security systems
• Troubleshoot and replace components and wiring circuits, repair electronic equipment, and take readings using instruments such as digital multi-meters, signal generators, semiconductor testers, curve tracers, oscilloscopes, etc.

RTI is an independent nonprofit organization headquartered in Research Triangle Park, NC. RTI is dedicated to conducting research that improves the human condition. Field Interviewers will work on the National Survey on Drug Use and Health (NSDUH).
Position Summary:
The NSDUH Field Interviewer position is a part time position offering an average of 20-25 hours per week. Field Interviewers will be responsible for traveling to participant's homes in an assigned area and conducting research interviews with randomly selected participants using a laptop computer provided by RTI. This position is a good fit for someone that is looking for a long-term part-time position. Please note that although this is an on-going research study there will be periods of down time during each quarter of the year where no work is available.
Candidates must be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends and must be willing to travel locally.
This position falls under the Services Contract Act and, for the counties in which we are seeking candidates, the base hourly pay ranges from $13.41 depending on what county you live in plus $3.59 per hour for Health and Welfare Compensation. Mileage will be reimbursed at $.51 per mile. Holiday and Vacation Pay is also offered.
