REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum 2 years administrative experience in professional office environment.
Exceptional communication skills, written and verbal.
Knowledge of SPANISH (basic to intermediate).
Demonstrated proficiency in MSOffice Suite – Word, Excel. Database experience.
Excellent organizational skills and follow through.
Ability to work in a multi-cultural office and interact with other delgates from offices globally.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Support Database Manager in updating various databases
Coordinate phone calls and correspondence between the dept. and outside delegations
Participate in preparation of briefings
Prepare memos, messages and minutes

Administrative Assistant (McLean, Virginia)

Position in the office of a small law firm located on Old Dominion Drive, McLean, Virginia. Individual will be expected to provide a wide range of administrative support functions. A substantial portion of the assistant’s time will be to provide support for a client trade association. Duties will include coordinating meeting arrangements, screening phone calls and correspondence, tracking time and expense records, preparing client bills, managing filing systems and mailing lists, providing logistical support for meetings, and assisting with handling special projects.

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT SPECIALIST ((DC/MD/VA))

Performance Description:

7. Metro Washington area residence required, as well as the ability to work remotely and travel 50% of the time.

Qualifications:
1. 1-4 years of outside sales or business development experience in the Federal government sectors. Experience selling Information Management, Architectural, Engineering, or Facility Management services a plus.
2. Demonstrated commitment to close profitable business.
3. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
4. Ability to creatively strategize, plan, and execute BD plans.
5. Disciplined, high integrity, highly motivated with excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize, manage multiple concurrent assignments and deadlines.
6. Bachelor’s degree in Business/Marketing, Architecture, Engineering, Information Management, or Facility Management.

Purpose Statement:

The Assistant Principal at Booker T. Washington Charter School for Technical Arts is responsible for assisting the Principal with leadership, direction, supervision, operations and accountability. May assist with translation and/or communication using second language skills when possible.

Essential Functions:

Serve as an instructional leader by monitoring implementation of professional development in classrooms and grade level/content area meeting in accordance to the school improvement plan.

Implement and monitor school-wide behavioral expectations and policies, including monitoring attendance trends and overseeing truancy interventions; address safety and welfare issues by holding meetings with parents, investigating incidents, documenting findings, contacting proper authorities and conforming to legal requirements and regulations.

Resolve student issues by meeting with students, parents, teachers and other school staff and designing a plan of action.

Supervise athletic events by attending events, monitoring student behavior, providing officials with necessary information.

Represent out-of-building committee meetings for the following: curriculum task force, league and district athletic activities and high school assistant principals.

Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Principal.

Education, Certifications, and Work Related Experience:

Master's degree in Education plus additional coursework required for certification or licensure.

5 -10 years plus experience in teaching.

Understanding of district and school student-achievement data and District of Columbia standards; working-knowledge of literacy and the reading/writing process, strategies for second-language learners and special needs students; thorough understanding of best instructional practices for secondary classrooms; operating knowledge of and experience with personal computers, word processing and database software required. WEEKEND SET UP CREW MEMBERS (2) (part-time) (Bethesda, MD)

Mclean Bible Church (MBC) is a large, multi-campus church with campuses located in Loudoun, Prince William County, Arlington, Bethesda & Silver Spring.
The main campus is located in northern Virginia near Tysons Corner Shopping Center. MBC serves between 8,000 and 10,000 people per weekend.

Part time weekend positions (two) to work on Sundays from 6:00 AM to 3:30 PM at MBC Bethesda. Position responsible for moving, setting up and tearing
down tables and chairs; moving supplies and heavy furniture. Set up may require use of a diagram. Other duties, as assigned. Ideally, individuals should be comfortable
driving a 26' box truck round trip from Tysons to Bethesda.

Requirements:
High school education with relevant experience. Must be dependable and in good physical condition; position requires a degree of strength and stamina with the ability to
handle between 75 and 150 lbs and push up to 150 lbs (on wheels). Individuals must be dependable, punctual, team oriented and able to work the scheduled weekend hours.
A clean driving record is required.
