The Army National Guard is a reserve component of the United States Army based in the State of Pennsylvania. We take orders from the Governor and respond to State Emergencies, but also support the United States Army with their mission if requested. Go to 14 Colleges and Universities in the state of Pa for free until your graduate degree. They are; Bloomsburg, Slippery Rock, Indiana, West Chester, Lock haven, Edinboro, California, Mansfield, Cheney, Kutztown, Clarion, East Stroudsburg, Shippensburg & Millersville. Also, attend any of the 458 college and universities in the state. Total funding is up to $58,000. The tuition is fully paid by PHEAA, Federal Tuition Assistance, & the G.I. Bill. State funding was signed into law by the Governor in 2000. Get your Associates, Bachelors or Masters degree while serving your state and country. We are reservists that drill one weekend a month and two weeks per year proudly wearing the Army uniform. In Army basic training (10 weeks long), we will teach you leadership, teamwork, physical fitness, and discipline. During training, the State of Pennsylvania provides a monthly salary, 3 meals a day, housing (barracks) medical and dental. All of this while you learn a trade/job in AIT (job training lasts 3-6 mos long), and develop skills that most civilian employers seek. When you get back from training, you will receive a monthly drill check, and begin using the best educational funding/package the Army has to offer. We also offer up to a $10,000,00 bonus and student loan repayment of up to $50,000.00 if you qualify. If you don't have your high school diploma, the National Guard can help you complete either your high school diploma through the Patriot Academy or get your G.E.D. at no cost to you. *We do not accept Felony convictions (adult or juvenile). That means probation or incarceration
.*If you have been convicted of possession of any controlled substance/drug (Marijuana, cocaine, etc.) (As an adult or juvenile)-convicted means (pleading guilty, pleading no contest, ARD, or probation) you cannot enlist into the Army National Guard at this time.
*if you have been convicted of a DUI , you cannot join the Army National Guard at this time. Must be height and weight proportionate, able to read and write English, and motivated.

The United States Armed forces own and operate over 50,000 heavy trucks and transport
vehicles, which include water/fuel tank trucks, semi-tractor trailers, troop transports, heavy
equipment transports, and passenger buses. Motor Transport Operators are primarily responsible
for supervising or operating wheel vehicles to transport personnel and cargo.
