Position Overview

The Shipper/Receiver oversees stock room organization and maintenance. This position supervises the overall merchandise handling processes, including upholding receiving controls, shipment and replenishment processes and ensures efficient and consistent systems.

Job Responsibilities (including, but not limited to):

  • Ensures all shipment/receiving processes are followed by modeling standards; trains, directs and coaches employees on standards
  • Strategically organizes stockroom to drive sales, and ensures that it is maintained in a neat, clean, and organized manner, and in accordance with OSHA and building codes
  • Audits for discrepancies and ensures accuracy on all inventory paperwork, including bill of lading, shipment manifests, direct ship invoices, MOS and RTV reports. Executes reporting per policy and follows up to ensure completion
  • Packs merchandise to ensure limited breakage, damage, loss or overweight for all shipments
  • Verifies, ships and tracks store orders to customers and other Sur La Table locations in a timely and accurate manner
  • Tickets items received without prices and/or re-tickets items that have price changes
  • Works in a clean, efficient and organized manner; ensuring that both internal and external customer service is maintained, including breaking down cardboard and disposing of trash in a timely manner
  • Supports recovery and replenishment of the sales floor, ensuring visual standards are maintained
  • Protects the assets of the company by ensuring Loss Prevention critical controls are maintained, and communicates any concerns regarding merchandise, or policy violations in a timely manner  
  • Manages shipment supplies; communicates needs to store  manager
  • Participates in physical inventory and cycle count processes
  • Able to perform both Sales Associate and Floor Lead job descriptions

Job Requirements (including, but not limited to):

  • 1-2 years stock supervisory experience

Sports Camp Director & Day Camp Leaders (albany / el cerrito)

Sports Camp Director - starting at $15./hr DOE - 28-34 hours a week - Temporary/Part Time
Directors will be responsible for a group of 15-25 campers daily. Responsibilities include planning warm ups, drills, teaching basketball, baseball, soccer, various non traditonal sports and group games to camp participants. Leaders will be responsible for a group of 10-12 campers daily. ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
-Maintain supervision of the children in your care at all times.

-Supervise swim activities either from the water or on the deck as assigned.
-Identify and immediately report all workplace hazards, safety rule violations, near misses, and work-related injuries.




REQUIREMENTS:
-Must be 18years old with High School Diploma or GED (GeneralEducatiolnDegree) and have a minimum of 1 year experience as camp leader/counselor or work in childcare
-Clear TB and DOJ background check are required prior to hiring
-Need to be certified in CPR and First Aid.
-Physical fitness with the ability to carry and lift up to 20 lbs. frequently, and up to 50 lbs. occasionally. Ability to bend, sit, stand, squat, and change position quickly and frequently
(i.e. from sitting to standing).
-Attend all orientatin and training sessions prior to camp.
-Ability to accept supervision and guidance

Cargo Chief is looking for a senior level Software Engineer to take the company's website design and workflow and develop it. As a PHP Engineer, you will work with our designers, our CTO to generate the application of our site and potentially design and implementation of our mobile app.

The ideal candidate has an interest and skills to excel in a dynamic workplace. You will work initially at home and then at the office the team will locate. Also you should have the ability to work for equity until you and Cargo Chief close Series A (anticipated in the next 2-4 quarters) or are generating enough cash from operations to start to pay cash salaries. Cargo Chief can accommodate a dedicated part time or full time effort in this capacity.

Qualifications:

• 3 Years of LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL and PHP/Perl/Python) development experience
• Agile development environment
• Javascript / AJAX / JQuery/ JSON, CSS, HTML5 experience

• 3rd party API (facebook, twitter, etc) experience
