Maintenance Person Needed ASAP (Raleigh)

Small apartment community currently under renovation is seeking maintenance personnel for general maintenance, janitorial, and grounds work.

This position is part time to start (approximately 2-3 days per week) with full time employment a possibility in the future for the right person. A housing allowance will be available at that time.

CPO AND HVAC CERTIFICATION IS A MUST.

Apartment maintenance is preferred, however, having the necessary skills to make repairs involving plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance is pertinent.
Responsibilities include getting apartments ready to rent, i.e. move ins and move outs, completing work orders in a timely manner, cleaning the breezeways and laundry rooms of each building, trash pickup,
and general upkeep of the community. After hours and weekend on-call coverage will be necessary when the position is full time.

Applicant must be professional, and have the skills necessary to communicate with residents and management. Dependablility is a must, and due to on-call coverage, a short commute to the property is needed.

Minimum Requirements

• Property Management experience
• Tax credit and/or public housing experience (not required but a plus)

• Prepare weekly, monthly and quarterly reports
• Ability to communicate with outside agencies
• Perform other responsibilities and tasks assigned by supervisor
