I am a college student an Virginia Tech, home for summer for the next 3 months. I have reliable transportation as I have a car and license. I am willing to work any number of different jobs or services over the summer. I am skilled with Microsoft Office programs such as Word, Excel, and Outlook, can work basic and some advanced AutoCAD programs, and can type at an above average speed. I am able to work any variety of landscaping jobs, and have no problem working long hours outdoors or lifting heavy items. Babysitting, moving, aiding in transportation, and general assistance are all within my abilities and I would be happy to help for compensation. JOB DESCRIPTION

>This position is ideal for an experienced merchandiser looking for part time work. Hours and compensation are dependent on the number of stores serviced by the merchandiser. Salary is paid on an hourly rate. Stores need to be serviced weekly, bi-weekly, monthly and quarterly depending on the store.

>Candidates must have reliable transportation necessary for local travel and proof of insurance.

>Stores must be serviced during their normal day time business hours Monday -- Friday.

>Be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform tasks involve stooping, walking, bending, searching for items and standing for long periods of time.

>Candidate must have access to computer, printer, email and be able to respond to regular communications.

>Candidate must have the ability to understand written and spoken English.

>Specific tasks include: merchandising books and magazines, returning magazines on a weekly basis, POG compliance, calling into the IVR system and working with store management.

>Ideal candidate should be responsible, provide great customer service and be able to work well independently with minimal supervision.

Qualifications:

Qualifications for Sales Associates must have:
High School Diploma and 1 year retail sales experience.
Basic math skills to count, add, and subtract.
Strong interpersonal skills and ethical behavior to manage the company's assets.
Excellent customer service skills to develop a relationship-selling culture.
Must be 18 years of age or older.
