ATA Retail Services, Inc. is seeking a part time merchandiser to service the general merchandise items in supermarkets located in FARMINGVILLE & MEDFORD.
As one of our merchandisers, your responsibilities will include maintaining proper inventory levels, ordering, and stocking impulse merchandise according to each store's specifications using ATA's merchandising program.
The route will include the store/s in the following location:

YOU MUST HAVE:
* Access to a vehicle
* Valid Driver's License
* Proof of automobile insurance listing your name as a driver
* Computer with internet access
* Live within 10 miles of the stores listed
* Will work approximately 8 - 10 hours WEEKLY
COMPENSATION:
* $10.00 an hour
* $.38 mile after 20 miles round trip
* Drive time compensation when travel time exceeds 60 minutes round trip
GENERAL INFO:
* Stores must be serviced in the morning during the M-F work week
* Each store visit generally takes 2-3 hours
* No Weekends, No Evenings!

Window Treatment Fabrication (Hauppauge)
Works from prepared job orders, and priorities as assigned by Shop Management.
Prepares window treatments for delivery and/or installation by mounting the treatment to a dust board and rigging the treatment for operation using cord lock, clutch lift or motorized lift systems. Obtains requirements from the shop manager and ask questions to ensure proper application.
Inspects finished treatments, measures sizes and checks operation of the treatment before packing.
Packs finished treatments for transport to clients. Insures necessary mounting hardware is packed with the treatments. Properly labels the finished package.
Cuts, drills and paints curtain tracks and hardware. Inspects finished tracks and properly packages and labels them.
Fabricates by cutting, drilling, bending, painting and sanding window treatment components such as hem bars, shade rods, dust boards and brackets used in the window shade fabrication process.
Helps maintain an organized inventory by assisting in the receiving and stocking of fabrics, components, wood and metal.
Maintains work area in a safe and clean condition.
Other Duties:
Other duties as required may be assigned by management.
Requirements
The ability to measure and use basic tools is important.
A positive work attitude, as well as the ability to work effectively as part of a team to achieve results are important attributes.
A willingness to learn and appropriately utilize proprietary workflow database system as appropriate.
Must be flexible and able to adapt easily to changing work priorities.
This work is mostly performed in the workshop of a fabrication facility, which is unusually clean, light and modern in look. May be required to stand and/or bend for long periods of time. Required to frequently climb small ladders as part of the job responsibilities. Required to do moderate lifting of up to 70 pounds. The work involves exposure to dust and hair and appropriate safety measures should be adhered to.
