Responsibilities
1. Contribute to the stores sales goals by selling the furniture and accessories, and services offered by La-Z-Boy
2. Work as a team with Selling Manager, Designers and Sales Leads to promote the In-Home Design program and drive store sales
3. Meet and greet ALL customers that come into the store
4. Ensure that each customer has an informative and positive experience by using good customer service skills and demonstrating knowledge of products and services
5. Maximize store promotions, marketing initiatives, and grass roots programs
6. Maintain strong knowledge of features and benefits of existing and new product line
7. Accurately complete order information, collect deposits and fees, keep orderly customer records, and research customer payments and deliveries
8. Assists with maintaining the overall appearance of the store, this includes, but is not limited to, set up of accessories, maintenance of showroom displays, tagging product and accessories, and general store cleanliness.
9. Assist with other store functions as needed including but not limited to furniture handling, cleaning duties, inventory management, clerical duties and store line up execution.
10. Meet established store goals as set by management
11. Maintain a positive working relationship with all store associates
12. Adhere to general store operational procedures and guidelines
13. All Assistant Sales Associates are expected to achieve PSS certification, including completion of all LMS modules
14. Other duties as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
• High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Some post-high school education is preferred.
• Previous sales experience is a plus, but not required
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, including Word, and Excel
• Ability to deal with people at all levels and work as team
• Excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills
• Initiative to meet assigned goals, missions and objectives
• Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate and build rapport
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and certain holidays as required

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR FROM YOU?
As an In-Home Appliance Repair Technician, you must be willing to:

• Work as a dedicated team member to ensure fast, flexible and expert service to every customer
• Demonstrate a sense of urgency to meet customer time commitments. Successfully complete all Technician training elements within required timeframes
• Meet key performance metrics and/or productivity goals as defined by the business
• Provide knowledgeable and courteous repair service
• Continuously look for methods to improve business performance and enhance the customer experience
• Follow the Value Added Services Process (i.e., selling extended warranties, water filters, etc.) by effectively communicating the benefits to the customer
• Maintain truck stock inventory within the prescribed company guidelines and standards
• Follow the truck maintenance schedule and keep a clean, organized truck
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures
• Must have minimum of 2 years previous experience repairing household appliances including washers, dryers, ranges, ovens or other related equipment.
• Must have excellent customer service skills.
• Must be capable of heavy lifting up to 50 lbs (up to 100 lbs occasionally).
• Valid driver's license and good driving record required. Background checks to include drug test, DMV and criminal.
• Previous training in basic electricity or electronics is a big plus!

Job Description

Receive incoming calls, answer questions and provide information whenever possible. Take complete and accurate messages and route calls to appropriate staff members.
Greet and offer assistance to visitors and members.
Ensure that office files are well organized and up-to-date.
Provide night messages for telephone.
Process notice of illness or death by notifying the Church staff, Chairman of the Deacons and Funeral Coordinator — as applicable/necessary. Maintain, monitor and prepare quarterly grief correspondence.
Maintain Hospital and Prayer Board.
Arrange for equipment repair as needed.
Attend staff meetings and communicate information to those who were unable to attend.
Assist finance secretary as needed.
Assist with preparation of weekly bulletin.
Maintain Office Calendar.
Qualifications

MS Word & Excel
CDM + experience preferred
Comfort level with MAC & PC a plus
Good time management skills, detail orientation, strong communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team are requirements.

In order to begin work there are some out of pocket expenses. Investments necessary are a security deposit for the vehicle. Also you need $49.00 to obtain a permit with the city of Jacksonville. While we keep the vehicle mechanically sound, it is your responsibility to keep the vehicle fueled and clean. The daily lease subscription fee will be discussed after all above requirements have been met.
