Part Time Sales/Admin (Park Street, Hartford CT)

Responsibilities
1. Contribute to the stores sales goals by selling the furniture and accessories, and services offered by La-Z-Boy
2. Work as a team with Selling Manager, Designers and Sales Leads to promote the In-Home Design program and drive store sales
3. Meet and greet ALL customers that come into the store
4. Ensure that each customer has an informative and positive experience by using good customer service skills and demonstrating knowledge of products and services
5. Maximize store promotions, marketing initiatives, and grass roots programs
6. Maintain strong knowledge of features and benefits of existing and new product line
7. Accurately complete order information, collect deposits and fees, keep orderly customer records, and research customer payments and deliveries
8. Assists with maintaining the overall appearance of the store, this includes, but is not limited to, set up of accessories, maintenance of showroom displays, tagging product and accessories, and general store cleanliness.
9. Assist with other store functions as needed including but not limited to furniture handling, cleaning duties, inventory management, clerical duties and store line up execution.
10. Meet established store goals as set by management
11. Maintain a positive working relationship with all store associates
12. Adhere to general store operational procedures and guidelines
13. All Assistant Sales Associates are expected to achieve PSS certification, including completion of all LMS modules
14. Other duties as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
• High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Some post-high school education is preferred.
• Previous sales experience is a plus, but not required
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, including Word, and Excel
• Ability to deal with people at all levels and work as team
• Excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills
• Initiative to meet assigned goals, missions and objectives
• Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate and build rapport

CNC Programmer/Process (Farmington, CT)

Progressive Aerospace Manufacturing Company is seeking an experienced CNC Programmer for our Multi-Axis machining and Mill-Turns centers.
Qualified candidates should have 5 yrs. experience Programming CNC machines in an Aerospace environment. Have experience in 5 axis programming with Mastercam and typical aircraft materials machining. Be able to determine manufacturing process and tooling to make a quality part. Must be able to work well with other people and be quality conscience.

Solid Works Experience a plus.

Essential Responsibilities

- Perform CNC programming for lathes, mills, mill/turns, and 5 axis machines using Mastercam
- Develop tooling solutions, as needed, both cutting tools and work holding
- Be involved in solving manufacturing and quality issues utilizing root cause and analysis tools and implementing correct actions
- Assist with operator training initiatives and participate in development of operator training programs
- Support the manufacturing engineers and NC setup men to cover the CNC program needs of the New Product Introduction (NPI) processes and the productivity actions
- Determine and formalize technological parameters through CNC programs and participate in the CNC program archiving process
- Assure full technological documentation with CNC path, featuring and tooling information
- Contribute new ideas and positive support to the current process by implementing productivity actions in order to improve the process and respect objectives
- Assure CNC program downloading-uploading to the machines
- Optimize CNC programs for cycle time reductions
