Part Time Field Locator – Summer Food Project (Manchester, CT)
Part Time Field Locators Needed
RSW (Retail Solutions at Work) is seeking Field Locators to locate study participants in Manchester, CT area and the surrounding areas. Due to travel being involved we are seeking candidates in the Manchester and Hartford.
POSITION SUMMARY:
Field Locators will be assigned to a project being conducted by our client, Abt SRBI, a social science survey research firm. Approximately two months of part time work is available beginning from end of May to the middle June and then again from late July to early September.
The USDA's Food and Nutrition Service (FNS) has hired Abt SRBI to evaluate a potential new program that would provide food benefits to children from low income households during the summer when school-based programs (school lunch and school breakfast) are not widely available.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
ü Must be available up to 20 hours per week, including evenings and weekends
ü Flexible schedule required
ü Will be locating families and facilitating interviews with the Abt SRBI Phone Center
Interviewing experience preferred but not necessary
ü Must pass criminal background test
ü Must be comfortable knocking on doors
ü Must have own reliable transportation
ü Must commit to working both months of the study
ü Bilingual (Spanish/English) skills are preferred, but not required
ü All Field Locators must complete a phone training prior to beginning field work
The pay for this position is $19 per hour with mileage reimbursed at $.51 per mile.
