We are currently recruiting for the following position:
Location: Burlington, North Carolina
Position: Site Supervisor
Shift: Monday -- Friday, 7:00 am -- 3:00 pm
Schedules may vary as hours increase
Sunstates Security, LLC is a licensed security organization and requires all employees to meet the following hiring requirements:
• A current PPS Registration Card is highly preferred
• Minimum of 2 years experience in private security operations, law enforcement, public safety or the military and at least one year in a supervisory role
• Minimum of 18 years of age (21 years of age for some positions)
• High School Diploma or GED
• Authorization to work in the United States
• Ability to effectively speak, read and write English
• Ability to pass a drug screen
• Ability to pass a background check with clean driving record
• Must have high proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
• Ability to maintain satisfactory attendance and punctuality standards
• Ability to maintain a HIGH professional appearance
• Ability to comply with the uniform dress code
• Ability to walk several miles a day conducting normal patrol functions and withstand high physical demands of the job.
• Ability to respond quickly to emergency locations anywhere on campus while carrying an AED

Industrial Engineer (Thomasville, NC)
Our client is looking for an individual to assist the Industrial Engineering department in completing efficiency projects in manufacturing areas. Candidates would need to have a background of performing hands on work in electrical, controls and mechanical aspects of equipment. This may include the design of new custom equipment. Reports directly to the Industrial Engineer. This will last for eight to twelve weeeks.
• Associates degree or equivalent in a related field
• Proficient with ACAD 2D
• Creates and maintains schematic drawings for electrical and control panels.
• Experience creating or modifying PLC programs using Allen Bradley or Siemens
• Experience designing and building controls panels for new equipment or upgrades
• Attends project meetings
• Reliable to work alone or as part of a multi departmental team
• Must own tools and have the physical ability to assemble equipment
• Will assist the IE in evaluating processes for opportunities to automate
• Any experience with robotics would be a plus
• Will work with outside automation contractors as needed
• Any experience or knowledge of Lean Principles would be a plus
• May be needed for administrative task such as creating written procedures
• May assist with collecting time study data
