Human Resources Manager (South Eastern, FL)

Job Description:
Seeking a senior Human Resources Manager, part of site managers staff and an integral member of same. Should have 10+ years experience and understand the complete employee employer function. Should be a SPHR, PHR, or CCP designation would be expected.
Will supervise 6 direct reports 3 are exempt
Will have responsibility for compensation and benefits as part of employee employer. the site has three chemical production plants and field operations as well. Employee head count is 750. The position is available due to the pending retirement of the incumbent. The position is located in central FL. the work location is rural and the closest large city is Gainesville. Lake City is closer but not as large.
some experience points:
a. must be degreed, an advanced degree isn't required but will receive attention
b. Need 5+ years of management supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
c. Must understand Federal and State regulations for the industry, OSHA, employment security and industry scruitny
d. Must understand compensation and benefits - planning for same as well as the administration of
e. Must understand training and education and be a change agent
f. Working knowledge of industrial security and understanding of safety
g. Required first chair union negotiations expertise and able to lead contract negotiations next year, 2013
h. Build, develop,support the site strategic plan
i. Develop, implement, change, upgrade, etc. company employee policy and procedures.

Looking for some one to work couple hours in morning and evening driving to job site. Potential for more hours through out day being a helper. Could also use as on call during day for trips to hardware store occasionaly. Will start out part time, but depending on ability and motivation could turn into full time quickly. Pay to start is $8/hr and tank of gas per week. Must have valid license and dependable transportation, truck prefered but not manditory. We have part time and full time positions open at this time. The work schedule may be a regular 8 hour work day or a split-shift with a 4 hour shift in the morning and again in the evening.
