Equipment Performance Management ("EquipPM") is looking for a customer-focused maintenance technician who can establish strong working relationships with our customers. While at the customers' storage yards and well sites, candidates will be required to work on Heavy Duty equipment in the oil field industry. The potential candidate must be able to travel both locally and out of state on trips that can range from 3-14 days at a time.
EPM offers a very competitive compensation and benefits package including base salary plus commissions. Interviews will be held locally and the candidate must be able to pass a pre-employment screening, physical, drug test and driving record review. Requirements of the position:
This position requires a good mechanical aptitude, the ability to function within a team, and a strong passion for excellent customer service. The candidates must be able to work up to 14+ hours a day and work out in the elements throughout your trip. The candidate will be required to participate in a 6 week training program and pass a written competency exam and field review. During this time, candidates will receive a competitive base salary.
Job Duties:
Candidate will be required to work at customers' facilities regardless of locations. The candidate must also display professional conduct at all times, be able to work during the day or at night, fill out invoices and inspection sheets, interact with customers on a daily basis and discuss potential issues discovered that may require repair. Most of the work will require competency with standard hand tools.
Required Skills:
Good mechanical aptitude, ability to work within a team environment, ability to work safely and use tools properly, good communication skills, ability to understand and fill out paperwork ,and inventory management.
Required Education and Experience:
Candidate must have a High School Diploma or equivalent, valid driver's license or CDL. If candidate does not have a CDL then one must be acquired within an acceptable time frame following employment.

Production Manager, Custom Injection Molding (Plastics)
Premier Technical Plastics, Inc. has an immediate opening for a Production Manager in our Dallas, TX and Searcy, AR facility. This is a hands-on position is responsible for the production department and manages our custom injection molding operation consisting of computer controlled, Van-Dorn presses from 28 - 1,500 tons capacity. The Production Manager will lead a successful team of supervisors, technicians, and operators and interface with all departments at the company to provide outstanding customer service, and produce the highest quality, most cost-effective products, delivered on time. The position reports directly to the Site Managing Director.
Basic Position Responsibilities Include:
• Ensure a safe and orderly work environment for our employees that meets OSHA standards
• Plan, organize, direct and control the operations to achieve our customers' expectations
• Dynamic, effective scheduling to maximize labor, machine and materials efficiencies
• Organizes and assigns job duties in a multi-shift, 24/7 operation
• Analyzes and diagnoses machine problems and coordinates corrective procedures
• Participates in ISO re-certifications, Total Quality Programs and Lean Manufacturing Projects
• Strive to continuously improve safety, quality, and production, while reducing waste
• Successfully launch new products -- quickly establish optimal parameters and processes
• Ability to closely interface with our customers with an emphasis on elite customer service
• Establish and constantly monitor optimum cycle times, throughput and materials flow
• Apply people and processing skills to meet the goals and objectives of the company
• Coordinate machine and tooling maintenance, repairs, ECN's, etc. with suppliers
• Make recommendations for CAPEX projects and ensure successful implementation
• Constantly focus on reducing costs throughout the operations
Position Requirements:
• Ten plus years of in-depth production supervision/management experience in a quality driven, fast-pace, high volume plastics injection molding environment
• Tooling knowledge with the ability to read part and tooling prints
• Ability to process a wide variety of plastics resins and color concentrates
• Experience managing and reporting "key performance indicators"
• Experience with automated equipment and robotics
• Experience with ISO and Lean Manufacturing Principles
• Experience with Manufacturing (MRP) software system and Microsoft Office
• Experience utilizing shop floor monitoring system (Mattec or similar)
• Self-starter/motivated, team player with strong leadership skills
• Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus
• Technical degree is also desirable, but can be substituted with experience
