Recruiter – Acquisitions Specialist (Ann Arbor, Mi)

McKinley Inc., a leader in the real estate and property management industry, is seeking a Recruiter/Acquisitions Specialist role at our corporate office in beautiful downtown Ann Arbor, MI.
This exciting role is not your typical recruitment associate role as it requires the successful candidate to be willing and able to get out in the field and assist on the front lines by ensuring that we consistently have RPRS (right people in the right seats) and that hire only the best, most qualified team members for every role.
In this role, the successful candidate will report to the Director of Human Resources and will be primarily responsible for the following:
•High volume, fast paced recruitment efforts primarily for third-party managed properties including job posting, sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer creation, etc.
•Management of the new hire process including review and collection of new hire documentation, preemployment testing, etc.
•Responsible for assisting operations team on-site with the acquisition of new properties and the interviewing, on-boarding, processing and training of newly hired staff.
Requirements
The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:
•A minimum of 5 years recruitment/staffing experience; some experience in employee relations preferred.
•Bachelors degree in human resources or related field.
•PHR or SPHR preferred.
•The ability to work at an EXTREMELY fast pace (the speed of light comes to mind).
•The ability to consistently provide exceptional (WOW!) customer service.
•The ability and desire to travel possibly up to 50% of the time to any of the states where McKinley operates to support our property acquisitions.
•Significant experience with social media as a recruitment source.
•Strong computer skills with MS Office products including Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook and the ability to learn new programs (such as ATS software and HRIS systems) quickly.

We are currently recruiting for a professional and customer-oriented , experienced Cook for one our location in the Downtown Detroit. The ideal candidate would have great customer relations, food knowledge and culinary experience, and/ or catering. Would be comfortable working with a range of customers, from all walks of life.
The Cafe is part of a facility that provide 24-hour, residential, substance abuse treatment for adult, homeless men of Southeastern Michigan, in a professional, compassionate, therapeutic environment conducive to reducing their problems of drug and alcohol addiction, thereby promoting their return to health, independence and increased self-worth.
Responsibilities would include:
• ServSafe Certified- highly preferred
• At least 1 -2 previous years of cooking experience
• Must have some knowledge of soups, sauces, proteins, etc.
• Previous Catering/Cafe experience –highly desirable
• Preparation of all breakfast hot food, prior experience with eggs/omelets, pasta stations, and carving stations- highly preferred
• Preparation of all hot grill lunch items including daily special according to prescribed recipes
• Must interact with co-workers in order to assure compliance with company service standards and company inventory.
• Follows principles of sanitation and safety in handling of food and equipment.
• Represents the company in a courteous, efficient, and friendly manner in all customer and employee interactions.
• Wears the prescribed uniform and maintains a professional appearance at all times.
• Must be a hard worker, relible and willing to learn and understand corporate dining style.

** We are kicking multiple major long-term programs
** Job Functions
Participate in development of solutions for door systems, sheet metal and cost reduction initiatives.
Analyze and provide creative, technically-feasible solutions to problems encountered in validation and production. Promptly resolve plant build issues.
Interface and coordinate with suppliers, Purchasing, Materials, Manufacturing, Quality, Warranty, Marketing, and other departments in the product development and testing phases.
Prioritize assignments consistent with business goals and successfully implement projects on time and within budget. Proactively inform management of project issues, delays and risks.
Generate and implement ideas to continuously improve work environment, systems, tools, processes as well as product cost and quality.
Lead other designers and suppliers in the design and development of door components and systems.
Provide creative, technically-feasible designs for assigned area that satisfy customer needs while adhering to Engineering standards and strategic directions.
Use CATIA and other design tools to create and maintain 3D part and stamping designs, detailed 2D part/ assembly drawings, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing, packaging studies, and installation diagrams.
Identify proper materials, tolerances, finishes, fasteners and production methods for new designs.
Interface with Compliance & Regulatory Affairs to ensure that designs meet domestic and export government regulations, restrictions and codes.
Interface with Engineering Analysis to determine the most effective and economic design and materials to be used in designs.
Develop and maintain Engineering documentation.
Process releases using the Engineering Documentation and Release System.
** Basic Qualifications
Bachelor of Science degree is preferred.
Minimum 4 years of experience is required.
Experience with stampings, sealing systems, glazings and/or mechanisms is required.
Demonstrated CAD expertise (Catia V5) is required.
Strong GSD surface development.
Demonstrated strong verbal & written skills are required.
Experience leading projects is required.
Experience leading & mentoring others in identifying/solving the root cause of complex problems is preferred.
Experience preparing & giving presentations to small groups is preferred
Experience leading implementation of cross-functional improvement initiatives is preferred.
Understanding of engineering & upstream/downstream processes is preferred.
