Kennel Technician (Hamilton, OH)

The Kennel Technician, under general direction from the Kennel Manager, has primary responsibilities including:

- Cleaning and maintaining our kennels and facilities
- Providing animals with adequate food and water daily
- Vaccinating animals
- Assessing temperament of animals
- Data entry
- Assisting with euthanasia

Please note: All personnel may be required to perform duties outside of their normal responsibilities from time to time, as needed.

Requirements:

- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Valid driver's license with driving privileges in the State of Ohio.
- Experience in a humane society, dog warden, SPCA or similar facility is preferred
- Ability to utilize effective problem solving and decision making skills.
- Computer literate in a Windows environment to perform work.
- Ability to lift 75 pounds with reasonable accommodation

Working Conditions:

- Works in an area with a potential high noise level
- Frequent exposure to and/or handling of cleaning supplies, animals and controlled substances
- Frequent physical duties including standing for long periods of time, lifting/carrying, climbing, balancing, kneeling, and crawling.
- Subject to animal bites and scratches

Campground Landscapes Maintenance Technicians (Seasonal).
The Park Maintenance Technicians responsibilities are very diverse and include grounds keeping, equipment operation, removing trash and debris, beautifying our campground, relocating picnic tables and fire rings, cleaning sites, housekeeping, as well as maintaining all equipment and facilities. Technicians will be helping with the daily running of the outside campground operations. Strong interpersonal skills are required, as this position will also perform park patrols and campsite deliveries in our golf carts throughout the park.

Campground Housekeeping Crew (Seasonal).
We are looking for very responsible, reliable and prompt cleaning help. We desire someone who loves the outdoors and is not afraid of hard work. Main duties include cleaning bath houses, bathrooms and cabins.
