Job Overview:
Overall administration of culinary department at all locations, including food preparations and techniques, sanitation, safety, profitability/costs, training, specification adherence, while directly assisting and communicating with day to day operations of the front of house restaurants. . Oversee kitchen management to ensure all mangers are completing daily tasks, projects, and duties as well as determine goals for management team to be completed in addition to ongoing tasks 75% of the job is on site at Hyde Park Restaurant Group locations including quarterly visits to all locations. 90% of scope of job will be back of house management and supervision of such to constantly provide our guests with the highest quality food products' in flavor, appearance, consistency, and texture while maintaining a positive work environment with the communication between front and back of house. Individual must be a creative profession in respect to both numbers and good recipes to control costs and promote consistency as well as time management and organization. The position also encompasses the accountability of the culinary training program for hourly associates as well as salaried associates.
Qualifications and Duties:
* Ability to lead and set standards while maintaining high and above average standards.
*Fine Dining /Steakhouse experience.
* Efficient at Microsoft Office Suite. Computer Skills required.
*Must have a complete and comprehensive knowledge of food and food preparation methods.
*Financial Accountability.
*Minimum five years prior experience in a multi-unit leadership position, or current corporate chef.
* Possess strong interpersonal and organizational skills. Guest interaction, and effecting communication with staff and management.
* Culinary degree required.
* 75% travel during pm service, must be willing to travel outside of Cleveland market, minimum 3 days a week, new store openings require 90 days on site.
* Must reside in the Cleveland market.
