Seeking Customer Service/Sales person in Romeoville
We are the leading manufacturer of Trade Show and Event Decor for over 25 years. We supply event professionals with world class Pipe and Drape, Table Skirting, Decorating Fabric, and much more.
We are a small office with 6 employees and a warehouse/production staff of 15. Because we are privately owned, we are looking for someone that can work in a close, casual environment.
Hours are Monday through Friday 8am to 5 pm
Job responsibilities include
--Answering phones and emails to assist customers with their needs
(product information and recommendation, tracking shipments, claims for damaged items, samples, quotes)
--Utilize SAP to enter quotes and orders, check history, check inventory
--Utilize SAP reporting to analyze customer's purchase history and sales potential.
--Establish a positive rapport and partnership with assigned accounts to create sales
--Work in a team environment with other departments
(accounting, production, shipping, purchasing) to ensure orders are to customer in their time frame
--Work with Customer Service team and Manager on special projects that arise on a monthly basis
Qualifications/Skills Required
--Skills in MS Word, Excel and other tools
--Experience using the internet, email, fax,
--Experience with SAP a plus, but not required
--Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills that allow multi tasking
--Must be able to talk on the phone up to 80% of your day
--Be able to work independently, as well as part of a team
--Creative problem solving a plus
--Prior office experience a plus
--Energetic, friendly person who is able to work with all personalities
Salary/Benefits
--$14.00 to $14.50 per hour to start
--401K after 1 year
