Facilities Manager (Buffalo, NY)

Lakeshore Management is seeking an experienced Facilities Manager for a portfolio of MH Community in Northeast Region to include New York, Maryland, Pennsylvania, West Virginia Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa, Missouri and Tennessee. Under the direction of the Director of Operations, the Facilities Manager is the leader responsible for the facility operations and staffing of several Manufactured Home communities as defined by our policies and procedures. The successful candidate will possess the following:
Skills and abilities:

Salary 40K per year

• A minimum of 3 years in maintenance /multi-family industry
• Comprehensive knowledge of plumbing, infrastructure, and construction
• Heavy Equipment operation
• Ability to manage multiple projects effectively and efficiently
• General knowledge in construction and project management
• Previous experience in managing a team of 20+ employees
• Excellent organizational skills to provide efficient and timely follow up for project resolution under strict deadline
• Ability to effectively manage, mentor and motivate team members to ensure success
• General HR knowledge with regard to reprimands, written warnings, and terminations
• Working knowledge of Fair Housing Laws

Requirements:

• Proficient in MS Office
• Energetic and positive with a sharp eye for detail
• MUST have flexibility to travel 50% of time, some weekends required
• MUST be results driven
• MUST have excellent written and verbal communication skills
• MUST pass criminal background and motor vehicle check

Primary Responsibilities:
