As our medical assistant some of your duties would include collecting patient vitals, obtaining chief complaints along with anticipating needed supplies and equipment, computer charting, assisting with procedures, keeping patient flow moving, keeping rooms stocked and more.

Previous ob gyn office experience preferred.

Computer literate a must due to EMR

We are looking for a part time office assistant to help with clerical activities in our home medical office. Duties entail scanning and uploading patient records into the computer system, answering and making calls, scheduling patients, and other general office work. Hours are flexible, but looking to fill at least three days during the work week. We are located in the Westlake Hills area. GARDEN CENTER DISPATCHER (OAK HILL, South Austin)

THE NATURAL GARDENER, Austin’s premier organic garden center, is seeking a Dispatcher for its busy soil yard and garden center.

This is a full or part time seasonal position that requires working weekends. The position is available in late January through spring. Group Home Supervisor (Austin)

Presby terian Children’s Homes and Services is seeking a Group Home Supervisor (GHS) for their children’s home in Austin Texas. The GHS will provide organization, training, support and accountability to Home Parents as they provide direct care to youth and their families. GHS is responsible to fully implement the PCHAS Way philosophy of care and structure. Will work with the team of Home Parents to provide the highest quality service to youth and their families.

Essential Job Functions:

1.Coordinate and attend all collaborative plan of service meetings and program team meetings
2.GHS will serve as the Family Team Coordinator to ensure that the Plan of Service is fully implemented
3.GHS will work with Home Parents to prepare them for collaborative meetings to maximize their input and feedback in the process
4.GHS will insure that Home Parents maintain a daily routine that is consistent with the PCHAS Way program. Routine will reflect opportunities for implementation of all elements of the Residential Program: Educational enhancement opportunities, preparation for adult living, skill enhancement interactions, goal centered feedback, recreational opportunities, dietary education and feedback, spiritual development opportunities, etc.
5.Insure that Home Parents have access to the goals and action steps (Plan of Service) for each youth/family in their care. The GHS will establish a system that allows the implementation of family/youth goals and action steps as outlined in the collaborative meeting.
6.GHS will train and equip Home Parents to utilize Love and Logic skills as well as strength focused language. The GHS conducts regular observations and provides feedback to enhance the learning process.
7.GHS will insure that the educational needs of youth are being addressed and that an intentional community of learning exists in each group home.
8.Will learn and implement outcome measurement tools and practices and utilize those to improve the quality of the program
9.Each Home Parent will have a current Professional Development Plan (completed within a month of employment) and the GHS will meet, on a regular basis, with each Home Parent to review the plan.
10.GHS will use the Professional Growth Cycle as part of the review of progress for each Home Parent supervised.
11.The GHS will maintain a Monthly Calendar that outlines coverage for staff vacations, special outings, and unique youth activities including family activities. A copy of the calendar will be submitted to Program Director by the first of each month
12.GHS will coordinate the Orientation Schedule for new Home Parents. The schedule is to be submitted to the Program Director two days before the start of orientation.
13.GHS will meet minimum licensing standards for case management including timely completion of initial Plans of Service, and any additional POS reviews and Discharge/Aftercare summaries.(Transition plans)
14.GHS will maintain a Weekly Checklist to be presented to the program director at a regular supervision meeting.
15.GHS will maintain an up to date Communication Notebook detailing events/decisions impacting the staff and home.
16.GHS will submit a monthly Building Observation form to program director. This form will report the quality of interactions being observed between Home Parents and youth
17.GHS will maintain a monthly Youth Feedback process
18.GHS will submit a monthly Building Review Form and Kitchen Inspection Form to the Program Director
19.GHS will coordinate with the Program Director to conduct the group process to update and revise the annual Program Operational Plan to be completed by December 1 of each year.
20.GHS will review and sign off on time sheets, financial documentation, weekly menus, medical logs and any other paperwork in a timely manner.
21.Perform other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
1.Provide direct supervision and support for Home Parents in the assigned work group
2.Coordinate communication and contacts with family members

Working Conditions:
1.GHS will maintain an office with computer and other equipment necessary to complete tasks
2.Hours of work vary according to the needs of the youth and the group home. Will work at least two evenings a week and Saturdays as needed to stay in contact with families. Works evenings, weekends, and extended hours as needed to address the needs of youth, families and PCHAS staff.
3.In emergency situations the GHS may be required to provide overnight coverage to support Home Parents who must be absent or need additional, temporary assistance.
4.Provide on call support to Home Parents
5.Some travel may be required
6.Must be able to see, hear and respond to youth and or staff in a variety of settings.

Job Requirements:
Education and Experience: A Masters degree in a human service field from an accredited college or university and one year of paid experience working with children and families at risk is preferred. A Bachelors degree in a human services field from an accredited college or university plus three years of experience required.
