Residential Counselor (Cobleskill, Schoharie County)

RESIDENT COUNSELOR- INDEPENDENT LIVING SKILLS AND TRAINING
Schoharie County (Cobleskill). Part time hours.
Responsible for providing one-on-one services to individuals with Traumatic Brain Injury in the consumer's home or out in the community. The counselor implements a written goal plan and assists the consumer with achieving set goals. This position requires the employee to carry a caseload and work independently from off site locations across the capital district.
Required: A HS diploma or equivalent and 2 years of related experience in Human Services is required. Must be at least 18 years old and be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds to apply. Must have a valid NYS Drivers License and reliable transportation required. Must be able to work weekends.

Accountabilities for this position

• Main IT Main resource for the Project Management office: Work with project managers, planners, estimators, specialists and cost controllers: Must be comfortable with the challenges of project management at all levels of the organization.
• Providing expertise in Visual Basic, BW (Business Warehouse), SAP and SharePoint. Knowledge of Timberline is an asset.

Will be called on to develop specific customized reports using mathematic models, statistics, trending and standard PMI metrics (KPIs). Visual aspects of dashboard reporting for projects/programs will be part of this position. Reports produced must be highly professional and exhibit an "executive" look and feel.
• Understanding of Project Management Protocols related to project planning, cost control and estimating
• Practical experience in cost controlling would be a plus
• Experience in large projects and organizations -- and working at client's sites
• Ability to quickly troubleshoot problems related to information transfer from one environment to another
• Has a of sense of urgency, concurrent priority management and effective time management
• Acting as an expert in IT -- assisting end users in optimizing processes, work flow and application to achieve maximum benefit
• Work with end users from various levels of the organization -- tracking plans and providing progress status
• Train internal staff on work flow and use of applications
• Will be involved in training sessions (Preparation and participation)
• PMP Certification a plus

Qualifications for the position includes:

• Post-Secondary Degree or technical certification in computer science, Business Administration or equivalent combination of education and work experience (Engineer)
• Minimum of 5-10 years of related experience including successful user requirements definition , implementation, testing and support of software applications/systems and related work flow/ processes
• Excellent knowledge and understanding of current information technology, solutions and trends
• Ability to work with and manage enterprise wide information in a multiple database environment requiring good data integrity, data import and export, custom queries and reporting, etc. would be a great asset
• Strong leadership, organization, analytical and problem solving skills
• Strong collaboration and written/oral communication skills
