TNS is looking for a Software Developer that will be part of a team that maintains, enhances, and supports various products. The products are developed mostly for a Linux environment using C and MySQL and are used to process financial transactions.

Responsibilities:

· The ideal candidate must be self-motivated and eager to learn TNS technologies.

· Participate in the full development life cycle of different products/applications.

· Design, code, and unit test software products/applications.

· Perform troubleshooting and bug verification.

· Fix software bugs.

· Perform software unit testing.

· Provide support for projects which may require research and analysis.

· Provide training to other team members or groups as required.

· Perform peer review of other team members work when appropriate/requested and provide constructive feedback.

Requirements:

Candidates lacking in some areas will be considered if strong in others

· 2 to 4 years of experience developing with C.

· 2 to 4 years of Database design and programming experience doing OO design.

· Experience developing in a predominantly Linux Environment.

· TCP/IP Client/Server Socket programming experience.

· Some experience/familiarity within the payments/financial transaction processing industries is desired.

· Ability to work under pressure with strict time schedule.

· Excellent communication and writing skill.

· Excellent troubleshooting and investigation skill.

· Positive attitude and outlook (even when faced with adversity).

· Ability to work productively and contribute in a diverse team atmosphere.

· A level of reliability, dependability and availability that allows effective and timely support of products/applications during off hours.

· A bachelor degree in Computer Science or similar with a focus on development.

Desired:

· Experience with C++ and/or Java and Python.

· A strong understanding of financial transaction processing and some common message formats would be extremely desirable (VISA, ISO8583, APACS, Proprietary terminal specifications).

DUTIES:

We are seeking a nationally certified (ANCC) or (AANP)Ã‚Family or Adult Nurse Practitioner to join our existing Palliative Care Consult Team (PCCT) as we expand palliative care services to our rural Veteran community and integrate palliative care into the rural community based outpatient clinics (CBOC’s). This position will work within a high functioning PCCT team that serves Veterans/families with end of life/symptom management issues in inpatient and outpatient settings.
