Community Managers in over 100 communities are responsible for marketing, PR, other social media outlets, event planning, e-newsletter campaigns, and various odds and ends on the local level --but they can't do it alone! Interns play an integral part in supporting activities designed to rally the community both online and off.

* Keeping clean with on-site projects, writing and researching
* Online community building

Other Program Details
* 3-6 month program; can be renewed with approval.
* 8-16 flexible hours per week.
* Currently lives/resides in the area
* Interns must have reliable transportation and be 21+, as we'll need your help at bars, clubs and other age-restricted venues.

Job Description
Candidate will be responsible for kitting, inspection, and other warehousing duties as assigned.

Permanent Part Time Position

Hours 9:00 AM to 2:30 PM with a 30 minute lunch period 4 or 5 days a week

Prefer at least 2 years of kitting or assembly industrial warehousing / manufacturing experience
Must possess good math skills, strong work ethic, and be able to continuously lift 50 pounds.
Must be mechanically inclined.
Be display good fine motor skills -- be able to handle small parts

The job is fast paced and the associate must be able to hustle and show independent initiative within a small work group. We are looking for someone that has worked in an industrial setting and is computer literate. Inspection experience highly desireable.

Embedded Software Engineer (Solon)

This is an open ended contract opportunity with a highly respected company located in Solon, Ohio. This position has an excellent hourly pay rate. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing embedded software components for instrumentation products. He/she will design, prototype, code, and unit test product features targeted to run on a variety of equipment. He/she will be part of multi-discipline engineering team and may also work directly with customers, marketers, applications engineers, manual writers, audit engineers, and commercial marketing.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

1. Work with Engineering Project Manager and System Architect to perform assigned development tasks. Participate in setting project and product schedule goals and consistently meeting and exceeding those goals.
2. Design for maintainability, manufacturability, ease of use, and overall quality.
3. Independently implement tasks based upon stated goals and collaboratively within a large cross discipline team.
4. Ability to solve difficult problems of diverse scope in creative and practical ways.
5. Create design documentation that is modern, maintainable, and transferrable.

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:
REQUIRED
C and C++ programming language proficiency with excellent debugging skills.
A four-year technical degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent with a minimum of 3-7 years of embedded design experience.
Relevant experience within large multi-threaded systems using an RTOS.
Solid experience in embedded software development with real time performance requirements.
Experience targeting high performance 32-bit embedded microprocessors.

HIGHLY DESIRED
Multi-processor design experience and integration with custom FPGAs and hardware.
Experience interfacing to hardware peripherals, a TCP/IP stack, and USB drivers.
Familiarity with Object-Oriented design principles.
Comfort collaborating with hardware engineers to program routines to control hardware.
PLUS
Experience with Green Hills velOSity or Integrity RTOS, Motorola Power PC, MULTI tools, or FPGA design using VHDL.
Knowledge of product development for test and measurement equipment for electronics
